Why isnt lasik surgery recommended if youre taking imitrex?

I was looking into having the surgery done, but everything I find on the surgery says that if you are taking Imitrex or are on medications for migraines, you really shouldn't have the surgery? Does anyone know why? I'm getting really tired of wearing glasses and this information dashes my hopes of getting rid of them.

Imitrex and other strong migraine drugs affect blood flow in the head, including blood flow to the eyes. Therefore surgery to the eyes while on these drugs is dangerous.
