Why does lasik surgery go wrong sometimes?Tess Like some people's eyes become worst. They still have to wear glasses.
Anika There are several complications associated with LASIK procedures, some more prevalent than others. How do you know if you have to worry? Most studies conducted during the late 1990s suggest the risk of complications averaged 5%.Since that time however, newer technology and better-qualified surgeons now report the risks associated with LASIK are more along the lines of 1%. This of course, only applies to patients that are meticulously screened prior to surgery. The good news is most of these complications resolve relatively quickly after surgery or are temporary. The truth is, lasik, like other surgeries, has also some risks. But the other cause why this happens is because of the people who undergo itself. There are some things that are inappropriate for them to do after the surgery which they did.To be informed what are the different complications of lasik, please visit the site below.
Joie just like any procedure non is perfect. nothing is 100 percent guarantee. it can go wrong for many reasons. the laser malfunctioned. the information from your tests were inaccurate. those are the leading causes. and of course many more. laser surgery corrects your vision to the best your eyes can be. its not always perfect sight but the best that your eyes allow. as for still having to wear glasses sometime it just don't work. after a certain age your eyes start to get worse and your vision decreases.
Kamala In my case, it wouldn't benefit me because I would still need glasses anyway. I'm over the age of 40 and I would only be trading one problem for another. I have not needed reading glasses but I will need them if I have it done.
