What steps do you take to have lasik surgery?

i want to have lasik surgery. if you had the surgery tell me about it. was it good? bad? big difference?

Denis
I've had it, and it was great. The first thing you need to do is find a place w/ an experienced surgeon (over 1000 eyes) and go in for a consultation.. some places do it free. They'll take measurements, dilate you, refract you, and tell you whether or not you're a candidate. Every doctor has different parameters for who he takes to surgery. Your next visit will be the surgery itself and it takes less than a minute per eye under the laser itself. You will have to come back the next day, following week and throughout the year for followups to make sure they didn't change. It won't hurt, you'll just be nervous! It's well worth it if you go to the right Dr. and have bad eye sight - good luck.TC~ http://ExecutiveHomebody.com
