When I had it done, the criteria was no change in prescription for 1-2 years. They wanted to be sure that my vision had pretty well stopped getting worse. I had this done (it was called RK at the time) in 1993. I was 32 years old, and am still glasses free!!!

i ck on this last wk, i'm thinking of having it done myself, and as far as i could tell, theres no age set, i do no of a man i worded w/ hes 62now and he can see better then me

About 18 and up. The eye is still changing so it could get better. once its stopped changing yu should do lasik.
