I paid $1800 per eye at a very respected clinic. I love a good bargain, but not when it comes to my vision. Some of the cheaper places that charge less than $1000 per eye are using a lower quality machine and the risk of having problems like seeing halos around lights at night or even blindness increase significantly.

I would think it would depend where you live. Here in the midwest you can expect about $1500 per eye. I do know there are some places that do the surgery for significantly cheaper, but also know that the individuals who have gone through them have had some problems. Rule of thumb, cheaper is not always better!! Word of mouth is your best bet.
