im about to be 19 in 2 days and im having lasik on thursday (thats going to be my birthday gift from my parents)ive been wanting to get the surgery for years now but i had to wait.have any of you had lasik surgery done? have you thought about it? im a little nervous..

Lasik eye surgery is rather safe if only you are a suitable candidate. As with any surgery, there is a definite risk incurred. You must be screened for suitability and examined by the doctor personally. (Not the sales team to mislead you to get expensive package deal). no i haven't i got ortho-k instead, you wear corrective lenses at night so you don't have to wear contacts or glasses in the day. At this website, they give the pros and cons of lasik and ortho-k/CRT. http://www.opticaldiscountcentre.com.au/…

my grandma had it done a few weeks ago, before, without her glasses you could barely see anything, now she only needs very weak glasses if she is reading =]according to her it didn't hurt at all and she could have got it done again the next daygood luckEmma x
