This means that prk is the only surgery that they use in the air force academy not lasik?

If they do, prk will help me out to bring back my 20/20 vision and to help me out as a fighter pilot or to become on in the Air Force academy.

that's just an affirmative statement with a question mark at the end....anyway....PRK is better....the healing process is longer and more painful...but the procedure itself is quicker and there are much less complications that can arise....for instance....i play hockey in college, and i had to get prk.....because, with lasik, if you get hit in the eye even slightly, it can cause really severe complications...even blindness....but with prk...contact to the eye won't affect you...well no more so than it would b4 the surgery....it's no big deal though....the whole thing takes less than 2 minutes...doesn't hurt at all...just feels a lil weird....and then for a like 4 days i pretty much just had to sleep bc my eyes felt like they had sand in them and were mad sensitive to light....but it was worth it
