Lasik eye surgery only from people whove had it?Ed Can you please tell me, was the operation difficult or uncomfortable? Did you have any issues afterwards, and how good is your eyesight now? do you still have to wear corrective lenses?
Consuela I had lasik about 3 years ago. I was a great experience. I did not feel a thing. They give valium before hand and they put eye drops in your eyes that completely numb them. Also, the room that you are in is completely dark, so you don't even have to see what's going on. I had 20/20 vision within 24 hours of my surgury, and still do today. I would recommend it to any and everyone! I got mine done at Henry Ford Optimeyes, and I would absolutely recommend them.
Kelvin i can see clearly and you don't feel a thing......very comfortable.......worth the money
Deadra My cousin got it done in India and she is all so happy about it--the surgry as well as the low cost.Lasik Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges kall types of surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as all types of surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your eye surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.hope this helps. http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com
