I plan on having lasik done, my options are : Monovision or correction just for distance and wear reading glasses...What is better?

The answer to whether or not you should have monovision or full correction and use reading glasses is actually very easy to obtain...try it first!After about age 40 the ability to focus on near objects deteriorates to the point that one needs reading glasses or bifocals. This process is called presbyopia. People who are naturally myopic (nearsighted, shortsighted) may be able to simply remove their glasses that provide distance correction to see near objects. Monovision is not for everybody. After a few weeks you will know if you like monovision or not.
