im 17 and i wear -2.00 d lens for distance, is that bad? also i dont think i can see 20/20 any more i think i need a stronger prescription, when will my eyes stop changeing? does reading books hurt distance vision.....plz help i need better vision!!

you can go to the doctor's and ask them about the contacts that you wear at night only so you have 20 20 vision in the morning. My sister and i wear them. they work. but if you miss a day, your vision becomes blury and it only comes in hard lens.

Yes, like myself, there is a procedure called PRK. PRK is better for people who want to do athletic things in the future- like swimming, and it also may be the only option if your eyes do not have enough surface tissue in order to perform LASIK surgery. Since you are 17, your eyes may still grow more if you have this surgery done at this age so it might be better to get glasses unless an eye doctor can tell you that it is okay to have this done.
