Is there any treatment for glare after lasik surgery?Dodie
I had lasik about 3 months ago, and while my distance vision has improved, at night I get a fairly severe glare or halo effect around bright lights, such as oncoming headlights. I was told this was a possible side effect, but would like to know if there is any current treatment. I realize this site is not for medical advice, but would be interested in finding out if there are reports of treatments for this online.

I had LASIK 10 years ago and I had glare for several monthsI still have bad glare under fluorescent lighting - such as shops with no natural lighting and then my vision is not so good.I was told to try some of the vitamin preparations made for eyestry listening here - I did ring a couple of years ago and speak to the naturopath but I don;t remember the name of what he recommended - but he did say it would be several weeks to see a resulta sydney australia radio station - has a programme at 9pm tuesday sydney australia timea experienced optometrist answers questions and also often a surgeon will talk as wellyou can listen over the internet http://www.2gb.com/index.php? option=com_…9pm tuesday sydney time - he is in the first hour of the Brian Wilshire programme

Both I and my wife have had this very surgery and we're very happy with it. We haven't experienced anything like you describe but, I hope you find relief.
