Is purchasing the lasik lifetime warranty worth it?Bryant It's going to be an additional $1, 800, but it would correct any changes in vision I might get in the future. But does your vision change after lasik? And is it possible to get lasik done twice in your lifetime after all the tissue and what not it breaks down??
Ivory Yes, it is. I had Lasik years ago. Within a year, my vision was back to the way it was. When I contacted my Lasik surgeon, he said that there was a 1 year time frame for which they would redo the surgery, but in my case it would be another 10k for a second procedure. So here I sit, with contacts in my eyes once again and 10k worth of Lasik money out the door for nothing.
Brooks Ask the doctor. I was 18 when I got mine done so it was necessary to get the warranty because your eyes still change at that age. So whenever my eyes start to change I will get the surgery free for the rest of my life. I'm 20 and still see clearly.
