Is new lasik treatment better for astygmatism?

Dierdre
I've been reading the Q & As about lasik here at Yahoo, and I also found a very informative article about the new Zyoptix process on EzineArticles and http://www.lasikeyesurgery-facts.com/ website.I have astygmatism in my left eye only, and I wonder if the new process would be more beneficial.I do worry that the procedure may still be relatively unproven.Any experiences?

I had lasik with intralasik. I think it is MOST beneficial for people with astigmatism because it is so hard to correct with contacts. I had a double astigmatism in my left eye and they can even correct that now! I am THRILLED with my results!
