You need to wait until your vision is done changing (about 21), if they do the procedure too soon, you vision will continue to get worse afterwards and you will need to get glasses again.

they say you have to have the same prescription for at least a year to make sure you're done changing/growing. i've heard theyll do it at 18, but im 19 now and my script is still changing
