Bud Well, I haven't had it myself personally, but a lot of friends swear by it, and are glad that they got it. My brother got it India through India Health Guru Consultants, and he said it was great Lasik eye surgery helped millions of people to be able to see, without the help of contacts and glasses. It will help you too, but make sure you get the right doctor for the procedure. After the surgery, one feels mild discomfort or pain for a couple of days. The procedure itself is not painful because they give you anaesthetic drops to numb the eye. For the first week, one may have sensitivity to light as blurry vision and dry eyes. All these side effects disappear within a few days and. The process is simple, safe and fast. They are making big improvements in this field, so it's probably worth it if you can afford it and don't need to use your eyes for a few daysfor info, please visit the link http://www.indianhealthguru.com
Hilma I am not able to help you on the price for Lasik in the Philippines, however I'd like to respond to your apparent assumption that Lasik will always give you perfect vision.I work for a nonprofit Lasik patient advocacy. We don't provide Lasik, just Lasik information and we certify Lasik doctors' patients' results.Lasik is surgery and no surgery is perfect. Even though Lasik is medically safe and effective with the vast majority of patients satisfied with their results, there still is the possibility that you will not get what you want. There is no such thing as perfect surgery. All surgery has some element of risk. The most that Lasik can do is reduce the need for glasses or contacts. You should not expect Lasik to provide vision quality that is better than what you see with glasses. It is possible that vision after Lasik will be better than before with glasses, but that is not easily predictible. To gain some insight to the results of others, you may want to review the preliminary results of the USAEyes Competence Opinion Relative to Expectation (CORE) patient survery at: http://www.usaeyes.org/lasik/faq/lasik-r…In addition to cost, it is necessary to select an experienced surgeon. Nothing else is as important than the person who will be making the evaluations, recommendations, and aiming a laser at your eyes. You may want to use our organization's 50 Tough Questions For Your Lasik Doctor. They are for US doctors, but almost all issues are the same in the Philippines. http://www.usaeyes.org/lasik/faq/lasik-t…
Eladia Not sure about the price, but I've done my homework since I've wanted lasik does as well but unfortunately I can't get it done.First, lasik does come with complications (glares, halos, etc.). Even though right after surgery you will be able to see clearly, have 20/20 vision will not always happen. Like with any surgery lasik has risks and I suggest you educate yourself and know what these are.
