My nephew just had it done in Lansing, Michigan. It was $5000. His mother said that it was cheaper here in Alaska ($3500). From the things I have heard, most seem to be between these two prices.If you are serious, a lot of these eye places will let you pay it off monthly. They work with a credit card company and you fill out the application and just pay monthly. Good luck. Everyone I have met who has had the surgery just loves it.

Yeah, me too but.... because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, they cannot perform this operation on my eyes because the natural eye lens may rupture during the laser sculpturing (loss of collagen type 2 from the Rheumatoid Arthritis).BUT I also changed my mind since there are no long term studies on what can happen in 20 years... after all, you do lose cells during the sculpturing procedure.There's another operation that is less evasive where a tiny slit is opened on the side of the eye lens and a small flexible lens is inserted and it unfolds and it guided to the center of the eye; it takes about 3-4 days to heal and you wake up with instant perfect vision. Ask your ophthalmologist about this. Consider your options first.Oh, yes, Lasix is now costing from $700 to $1, 500 per eye in NYC, depending where you go. It's the same operation except that some ophthalmologists want you to pay for their new BMW or their new sports car... that's all. The procedure takes about 20 seconds to be completed once it starts. Be ready to feel a bit of irritation and discomfort for a few days and make sure you use the drops they give you (to lubricate, anesthetize a little and the anti-biotic).

It depends.I paid 2600 or so.I chose to do it by an american doctor that I knew and trusted.You can get it for less over on the Canadian side.There are also lots of payment plans now.
