How many of you here are happy with your lasik results?Ella I'm considering it, but I've heard some horror stories about people's vision getting messed up after LASIK.Do most people have perfect vision after LASIK? Are halos at night typical for most patients post-LASIK, or only an unlucky few? I am really nearsighted (650 and 700) so I think I'm more at risk of complications. Wondering if it's worth the risk??
Josphine I am extremely happy. WIth the new technology, night halos have actually decreased. That was caused by the creating of the flap with a blade. Make sure you do intralase to create the flap.I had pretty bad astigmatism and am about 20/20 right now.
Coletta It has been about four years since I've had the operation. My eyesight after the procedure is 20/10 which makes it better than 20/20. I don't have the halo problem that some people experience. Only thing is that if I rub my eyes or lay something slightly heavy like a pillow on it then take it off, it takes about 5-10 seconds to re-focus when I open them as everything is blurry.I am extremely happy with the procedure. I still go to my annual eye exam and my eyes have stayed corrected.
Kendall I am happy with the result. Mostly. Can consider those better method to reduce the halos....i am -800 when i do lasik. Ask the eye doc for more advice
