Has anyone had laser eye surgery with lasik plus visions?Jeannette
I am interested in any positive or negative info you may have. I am pretty knowledgeable in the process. But, was inquiring about LASIK PLUS specifically. I am scheduling an appointment with the location on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Any chance somebody has been there????

I went to the lasik plus in Richmond VA. THey seemed very knolegable and were polite. I was very impressed with their cleaniness. My eye insurance company indorces this laskic center and they even pay 1, 000 dollars of the total cost. I was going to have the procedure done with them but I could not get it compltetly financed and I did not have the down payment. Even though the down payment was not much it was hard when I am paying back student loans. Althogh I did not have the surgery yet I was told by something that scares me about them a little. I was told that most of the people are not doctors. I still think that I may go back there because they are cheaper.

Hey, I haven't heard about that one, I went to Lasik MD for my pre-op, mine would have cost $4000 (wavefront lasik)I was gonna do it but im glad I didn't, i canceled two days before operation... they would have really overcorrected me due to a mistake in the prescription.. plus I have large pupils and my prescription changed in the last year... I guessI went to a bad place because they didn't tell me ANYTHINGMy eyes are even already a little dry and I had to ask for eye drops for part of the exam, they simply just gave me the drops and didn't warn about the severe dry eye problems people with already dry eye experience...anyways i pray everyday for thanks that I didnt do it :Pyou mite be fine tho, i dont know what your story is... but a VAST majority of people are fine... just be very careful with the pre-op, find out everything they are supposed to check and make sure they do it!! that was my issue!!! :PMaybe I will try again in many years when the technology gets better

I have never heard of this place. I had mine done where I live in Upstate NY for $999/eye. I would definately recommend where I had mine done. The doctor made me feel at ease. Definately check the place out and the doctors and make sure you feel comfortable with them before deciding. Good Luck!!
