I have a 20/400 uncorrected/correctable to 20/30 with glasses and contacts. I want to have a eye surgery to bring it to at least 20/50. to attend a self-sponsored police academy in Miami. Does law enforcement agency require a waiting period?

I know that some agencies used to require a 6-12 month waiting period. I don't know anymore, though. Each agency creates its own hiring policy so check with several you are interested in to get an idea.

Im pretty sure they dont. I mean its just and out patient sugury if you were supposed to take it easy and not do much then the place you got your eyes fixed at wouldnt let you leave. I think they recomend taking it easy for like 24 hours then your good.
