Does anyone know about lasik eye surgery?

At least I think it's surgery. Haha I just saw a commercial for it instead of contacts. Does anyone know what they do and if it's a lot of money??

yes surgery. laser thins your cornea.about $1500-$2000 per eye depending on where you live http://www.allaboutvision.com/visionsurg…

lots of money around 2000bugs---actually it is a procedure of knife less and no anesthetics like any big surgery --- it is a procedure to make stare at one point to flatten your cornea to suit your present refractive power to be much less or NIL

It is surgery to correct your vision. My husband had it done last year....he doesn't have to wear contacts anymore. His surgery cost $3500. It was well worth it. He has been wearing contacts since he was in fifth grade and could not see without them.

i know a little about recovery...includes migraines, having to put in eye drops about every half hour or so...blurry vision for a few month...but all in all worth it!

My mother had that done in 2000. But she has wears glasses to read and other glasses to drive.
