this surgery has become popular and ive seen it done for 300 or 400 an eye keep checking your area and who does the surgery. id like it done but 1600 no way

Have you checked your doctor out. You can also speak to other patience of his that have had it done and see how they felt. Just ask him/her (doc) for references. eye surgery is like any surgery ther are risks and they should have went over them with you. Money is not anything when it comes to seeing. Call other docs in your are and see what they charge. That way you can see if that office is in the ball park. My sister's have had it done and all went fine. But they checked everything out about the office and doc. Good Luck you'll love to see with out the glasses.

Mine was priced significantly higher than that. Have you talked to anyone personally who has had the procedure done with that doctor? I paid $5500 for both eyes. But, I found this doctor through word of mouth. Most everyone I talked to, who had Lasik done or knew someone who had it done, went to this doctor. So, I guess price doesn't matter as long as you talk to people who have experienced this doctor's services. Ask your friends, ask your co-workers, ask your friends, family and co-workers to ask their friends, family and co-workers.....I guess you get the idea! Best wishes.....

i do have an opinion here ....LASIK surgery works good .... but any surgery in the world isn't 100% safe .... there is a small risk in every surgery even if it was 0.01% risk .In many surgerys, the risk is failing in applying the surgery and they will do it another time.... but in LASIK, your eyes may become worse ....So that is a surgery even if it is 99.99% safe ... what if the 0.01 % happened? That's my opinion .... For your Knowledge, i was concerned about LASIK and i wanted to make it but i thought of what i have told u above and i said contacts wouldn't harm.... i learned how to handle them well and now, i use them easily and very quickly.... What matters is how much the doctor has had experience it does not matter for the money it matters for how safe the doctor can do it.
