Do u need a current presciption to have lasik?

I'm very interested in having Lasik, but i'm currently not wearing contacts or glasses. Do u need to have a prescription to have lasik?

You should not have to have a prescription to have LASIK surgery. It is an elective surgery for vision correction. If you do not currently wear glasses or contacts though, there is no need for this surgery. If an eye exam shows that you should wear corrective lenses, then LASIK may be an option.NREMT-P
