I know it depends on your eye time but just a general estimation would be nice.

i had the lasik surgery done on april 10, 2009. i wasnt scheduled to go back to work until thurs (16th) but went in wed the 15th. i could have been back to work as early as monday but my fear was getting things into my eyes since i work outside.. you can drive yourself to the follow up appointment that the next day after your surgery. their is no set time for how long you need off its completely at your discretion on how you feel and if you are comfortable about driving and such.but id would say give yourself at least 2-3 days.

Yes youll need to take off about a week or more. Youll have to stay in bed and wear goggle type glasses and you wont be able to drive or anything. Youll have to have ppl drive you places
