Contact lens wearerswould you ever consider getting lasik or other eye surgery?Jin lasik or the newer laser technologies to correct your vision.contacts are fine for me. the're a pain sometimes, but not ready for lasik just yet.
Delora Personally, no. They can not guarantee me 20/20 vision. I see 20/20 with my glasses and my contacts. Also, I have thin corneas, dry eye problems and also night glare. Being that these are also serious side effects of lasik, I am just not a candidate.
Dallas LASIK eye surgery can perform miracles - it can give you relief from wearing corrective lenses. It can cure nearsightedness, astigmatism and farsightedness. The procedure is quick and painless, offering almost immediate results. And due to advances in technology and the wide demand for this type of service, LASIK is quite economical. Think about that - no more glasses or contact lenses. What a relief - never having to hunt for your glasses or fool around with contacts. LASIK eye surgery can put a quick end to all that. The end result is that you can now see both near and far in proper focus. In almost all cases, you'll be able to say 'Good Bye' to those bothersome reading glasses!
Emmett I have performed closed to 10, 000 cases. Not everyone is suitable for surgery and if you are, the result is excellent . Of course as with any surgery there is a slight risk involved.Dr Yeoh Phee Liang Consultant Ophthalmologist www.advancevision.net.my

Frederica Yes. No contacts and glasses for the rest of my life. Just fine with that.
Marylouise No waaaaay. Who knows what the effects will be 10 years or more after. I don't think the long term effects are proven.
