Can you be asleep while lasik is being done?Carmelina
I might need to get lasik soon And i really have no option but i cannot stand things coming at my eyes i know that it does not hurt but my doc never said if you could be asleep while they do it.. does anyone know if you can be?

I had the same fear... ok, they will give you valium to clam you down. You actually HAVE to look straight into a red light so your eyes wont roll back while asleep, and they can laser your cornea.
