i had lasik sugery 2 weeks ago, the surgery went perfect and my vision is great except a little dryness sometime.i forgot to ask my doctor last time i visited him and i was wording is it fine if i use redness eye drop??

Hi there, If you are having dryness, it is best to use an artificial tear substitute such as Refresh or Optive. "Redness eye drops" of the Visine brand have chemicals that can cause more dryness or irritation. If you go to your local drug store, you can look for artificial tears. For the first few weeks, I would recommend using a perservative free artificial tear designed for LASIK dryness.

CALL YOUR EYE DOCTOR FIRST!They don't charge you for questions! Every doctor is a little different and some have very strong opinions about what they want their patients putting in their eyes ESPECIALLY after having any type of surgery.
