Everywhere I read it says wait 5 days. But i have been in my glasses for 2 weeks prior. I want to feel a little better and put a little mascara on.

If the instructions say wait 5 days, then wait 5 days. Wearing a bit of eyeliner is not worth getting an infection, so just exercise some self restraint for 2 more days. It's not going to kill you ;)

Each surgeon has developed a set of post-op instructions based on experience. If a surgeon has given instructions to avoid an activity for five days then it would be prudent to wait five days.Really, the only one who could answer this question affirmatively would be the surgeon that performed the eye surgery. No one on this list has the knowledge or authority to give anyone permission to go against the advice of one's surgeon.I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but it is what it is.Sincerely, David D. Don't ask me. I can't let you or stop you. I don't wear it anyway. My cousin did that two days after her eyes blew up like marshmellows. i really wouldn't.
