2 months after lasik i still have great sensitivity to light any suggestions on drops or other solutions?Candie It will take time, depending on what your eye acuity was before the surgery.Always have a dark pair of sunglasses ready, you might need these even at night. In time, your eyes will adjust to the "starburst" effect and you will not need the dark glasses as much.If hair is not an issue, also wear hats/caps with wide brims for added light barrier.
Edyth I would check with your doctor. I had light sensitivity too and it turned out to be epithelial ingrowth which is where surface cells get under the flap. They had to go back and do what they called a "lift and clean" to clear the cells out. Report Abuse
